Ladies...load up the minivans and come to Vinton for your holiday shopping. I will be highlighting some of my favorite places through the month of December. I can't tell you how lucky we are to have so many stores to overload our shopping senses. My first 2 stores I want to show you are Henkle Creek and Cameron's Clothing. They are located on Main Street and offer soooo many goodies.

Both stores carry merchandise from Tribal, Brighton, Natural Life, Bridgewater Candles, Youngblood Mineral Makeup, Klutz, Gooseberry Patch Cookbooks, and Lucky Jeans just to name a few. Karilea travels to New York and Chicago to hand pick jewelry and handbags for the stores famous line called "Jewelry Junkies."

The crew at Henkle Creek is also extremely talented- Paulette, Bernice, and Karen enjoy making homeade items for the store, how beautiful and what a meaningful gift to give your special someone.

Thank you so much to Karilea and the girls for letting me come in and photograph the stores. I can not wait to return and shop!!! The day has come- after Catherine was born I made a very hard decision to stop doing weddings while the children were babies. This coming January Grant will be 7 and Catherine will be 5. I recently had a once in a lifetime opportunity to partner up with a wonderful fellow studio owner to create a wedding photography business. Laura Green of Images by Laura has owned her studio 14 years as well. I am soooo excited!!! We will keep our full time studios but Elle Photography will be handling the wedding business. This is a wonderful compliment to what we are doing here at Davis Photography-we will still have the same excellent service and phenomenal family, senior and children photography. Last year we photographed a special delivery at Davis Photography- and Baby Zoey is back for her one year pictures.

I knew she was an adorable new born, but what a beautiful little girl she is.

We are back from Arizona what a wonderful vacation. We went to the Science museum, a ghost town that used to be a gold mine, a hike in the desert, a western town where it took you back to the old west days and most of all time with my husband's side of the family. Our niece Courtney was married last Friday and Grant and Catherine were the flower girl and ring bearer, I was so proud of both of them. I had to post some of the images I captured at the wedding although I was extremely careful to stay out of the photographer's way. Thank you everyone for being patient as I return phone calls and emails-although we had a fabulous time it is so great to be back.
