Since our son Grant has been old enough to watch a movie, he has loved John Wayne. He would tell me "mommy, I want to be just like John, a real cowboy." When I open up our local paper and saw the add for 2 Jo's Farm, I was thrilled. He could get a little taste of his big dream. He has been going all week and today mommy snuck in with the camera.

He has learned to lead, wash and clean up after the horse, but his favorite part is riding. John and Jody teach the students to respect and take care of the animals.

They earn money and are able to buy items in Santa's workshop and the General Store.

The campers go into the saloon on their breaks to drink juice and sing karaoke on the saddled bar stools.

Grant has had a taste of the cowboy world and has started saving his money to come back next year. I can't thank Jody and John enough for all they have done for Grant this week. He will never forget this adventure tomorrow is the rodeo so he will get to show his family what all he has learned.
